Develops and revises project materials and maintains project documentation. Defines and evaluates problems and plans effective solutions. Recommends improvements in project deliverables. Assists in defining the scope and impact of projects and effectively communicates the impact on the organization. Establishes project tasks, timelines and budgets and effectively manages them. Individual contributor role. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience. Job Description Projects are either directly delivered by a project manager within the team or alternately by a local project/development manager with change management oversight from the team. In either capacity, the team ensures on-time / on-budget delivery aligned to strategic objectives and stakeholder commitments, as well as adherence to enterprise change management (ECMS) and software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards. Responsibilities We are looking for an experienced execution focused Project Manager to work in currencies technology. Candidates should demonstrate a history of delivering large-scale ($5m +) multi project streams, multi location projects to time and budget. This role will be responsible for full lifecycle delivery of projects and should have a detail aware, hands on management style. The candidate should also have experience of structured methodologies such as PMI, Six Sigma etc. The successful candidate would be expected to provide both PM & CM services concurrently to different projects so must be able to effectively prioritize their work and multi task. As the team is also responsible for initial evaluation of strategic proposals in their conceptual stage for senior management the successful candidate must also be able to carry out technical and process analysis so should have comprehensive front to back office product and process knowledge for rates and currencies instruments. For proposed projects the project manager may also be subsequently responsible for business case preparation including detailed costs so an understanding of project accounting would be beneficial. The role entails exposure to senior business management and as such good communications skills are a pre-requisite. |
